The original Siberia headset certainly had a lot going for it: comfort, great sound quality and style to name but a few. However, the slight drawback seemed to come in the form of the microphone – a small clip which was neither practical nor easy to use.
So, as all good companies do, SteelSeries has taken on board the criticisms and gone back to the drawing board to create the Siberia V2. It not only features an extendable boom mic but is also set to deliver on comfort, sound isolation and more.
The Siberia always was a gamers headset and the SteelSeries signature headset, with the new upgrades, aims to offer great sound quality for not just a few gamers but for any level up to professionals! Let’s hope the success and professionalism evident in the Siberia is carried forward into the V2; if it is, a great product has surely been released.

My only fault with the original headset was that the microphone was separate, so great to see the microphone has finally been built in like the 5H V2, Any ideas on prices yet?
