Sources have suggested reasonably confidently that Sony will be releasing a refurbished PSP in E3 under the name of the “PSP Go!”. Supposedly it will be launched in the capital of all things technological – Japan – in Septemeber and then in the U.S. and Canada in the following months after that – say October or November.
These release dates tie in with Sony wanting to tap into the holiday market; the product itself is expected to be available in a both 8gb and 16GB versions using a new innovative form factor.
Another new feature will be the introduction of a memory stick configuration thus downloads are go.
