ODST Sales Hit 2.5 Million Inside Two Weeks

The latest title from the Halo franchise, Halo 3:ODST, has continued to the popularity seen with previous Halo games. Even despite the current economic climate, Microsoft have announced sales figures in excess of 2.5 million in just the first two weeks after release. The Halo: Reach beta that comes part of the package may just have been the icing on the cake with gamers seemingly happy with their new purchase.

EA Battlefield 2 Patch v1.5 Released

The well renowned first person shooter which is solely based on online multiplayer action has finally received it’s long awaited patch v1.5 replacing the existing patch 1.4. The new patch is set to update a number of different aspects of the game from the crosshairs of the TV missiles to making the F-35B and J-10 jets a little more even.

Obviosuly, this proves that Lionhead are working unofficially on Fable III, the sequel to the highly popular Fable II.

The sequel to the widley regarded Crysis for it’s amazing graphics, Crysis 2, is to be launched on seemingly all platforms; at first it have seemed that it would be limited to PC users only but now Crytek have announced it will also be available for a myriad of consoles including the Xbox 360 and PS3.
Completely Realistic Graphics Ready in 10-15 Years

The founder of Epic Games, Tim Sweeney has let it be known that he expects that videogame graphics will be ‘perfectly realistic’ in roughly 10-15 years. He expressed this opinion in an interview where he said “Probably 10-15 years for that stuff, which isn’t far at all. Which is scary–we’ll be able to saturate our visual systems with realistic graphics at that point.”

Activision’s latest Call of Duty game – World At War – has not been wthout it’s hiccups especially on the PC platform with lots of bugs still in the system. However, after the forst mpa pack, a second is planned giving an extra three multiplayer maps that will offer more achievements but unforunately it will not be free for the downloadable content.

Launch of Nintendo DSi Proves Very Successful
